For over a century, the Manke family has been an integral part of the Menomonee Falls community. Robin Manke, a life-long resident, has owned Robin’s Nest since 1982, selling current fashion with a focus on USA made garments. Her store is located next to her dad’s shop, Dan’s Tog Shop, one of the oldest contiguous businesses in Menomonee Falls.
With a family history dating back to the 1890s, Robin is deeply committed to her community. She has volunteered her time and resources to various causes such as working with the Menomonee Falls Food Pantry and teaching Sunday school for 50 years. Despite her many contributions to the community, she remains humble and down-to-earth.
The village of Menomonee Falls has experienced significant growth in recent years, becoming a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. With new art galleries, gift shops, improved parks, and restaurants and bars popping up all over town, it’s clear that business is booming in this charming little village.
Robin remains dedicated to maintaining a vibrant downtown area and plans to continue working hard in the future. While she may not have any current retirement plans on the horizon, she is always eager to discuss upcoming festivals and events coming to downtown Menomonee Falls.
