The 2024 Paris Olympic Games Qualifier is set to take place in Istanbul, Türkiye from May 9-12. Team USA will have a total of five competitors participating in the event – Spencer Lee (57 kg), Zain Retherford (65 kg), Dalton Roberts (60 kg), Ellis Coleman (67 kg), and Kamal Bey (77 kg).
In the Men’s Greco-Roman competition, Dalton Roberts lost in the first round of the 60 kg weight class to Viktor Petryk from Ukraine, while Ellis Coleman won his first match against Aliaksandr Liavon but then lost in the second round to Andreas Vetsch from Switzerland. Kamal Bey was defeated in the first round by Sergei Kutuzov from Russia.
