Prefect Željko Kolar (56) of Krapina-Zagorje County, a member of the SDP, recently welcomed his first grandchild. His son Maks, who is a lawyer, and his wife Mira Hrbud Kolar, announced the birth of a daughter. The family received congratulations from all corners as they celebrated their new addition.
Kolar and his wife have two successful children, Maks and Maja. Maks is a lawyer and Maja is a doctor. Kolar has had an illustrious career in politics. He has been mayor of Klanjec since 2009 and was elected to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. In addition to his role as Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County, he has also served as vice president of the Parliamentary Committee for Environment and Nature Protection.
