Adena Health has recently expanded its services with the addition of two new vascular surgeons to their team, Dr. Rahul Kar and Dr. Vikram Rao. Both doctors have extensive experience in treating various vascular conditions such as aortic disease, carotid disease, limb salvage, and more.
Dr. Rao, who has practiced in Cleveland for nearly two decades, is now serving as the medical director for vascular surgery services at Adena Health. He earned his medical degree from Stanley Medical College in India and completed his residency at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta before furthering his training with fellowships in trauma surgery and vascular surgery in Detroit.
On the other hand, Dr. Kar previously worked as a vascular surgeon in Washington, D.C., but has returned to Ohio after earning his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completing his residency in New York before completing a fellowship in California.
Both physicians are excited to bring their skills to the community of Chillicothe and recognize the need for advanced vascular care in the area.
