As the deadline for candidacies for the presidency of Confindustria approaches, several candidates have already emerged. Among them is Alberto Marenghi, the current vice president of Confindustria with the delegation for organization, development, and marketing.
Marenghi was born in Mantua in 1976 and is currently CEO of the family-owned paper mill in that city. In addition to his role at the paper mill, he is also the founder and CEO of Cartiera Galliera, a company based in Padua that produces recycled paper.
In 2013, Marenghi founded Sumus Italia, a company based in Milan that focuses on sustainable development. He has been an active member of Confindustria since 2004 and has held various leadership roles within the organization over the years.
With his experience as a business leader and his passion for sustainable development, Marenghi believes he has the skills and knowledge necessary to make a positive impact as President of Confindustria. The election results will be announced later today.
