Andrew Gaasch has been appointed as the president of CommonSpirit Health’s Mountain Region, where he will oversee hospitals and clinics in Colorado, Kansas, and Utah. He started his new role on May 20th, with a deep commitment to patients, employees, and communities. In this position, he will provide strategic and operational leadership to the 20 hospitals, 260 clinics, and 16,000 employees in the region.
With over 22 years of experience at CommonSpirit Health under his belt, Gaasch has a track record of results-driven leadership. He held various roles within the organization before being appointed as executive vice-president and chief financial officer. During this time, he oversaw the disaffiliation with AdventHealth and integration into CommonSpirit Health. Additionally, he has experience as the chief ambulatory officer and in operational and financial management.
Gaasch holds a bachelor of science in business administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a master of science in health care leadership from the University of Denver. Under his leadership, CommonSpirit Health in the Mountain Region is well-positioned to continue building healthy communities now and in the future by achieving growth targets for revenue and market share while expanding its ministry within the region.
