Aspen has when once more created it on the calendar for subsequent year’s International Skiing Federation Planet Cup.
The FIS Men’s Giant Slalom and Slalom will be back in Aspen March two and three, 2024, according to a post from the FIS Alpine Planet Cup Tour Facebook web page. Aspen is slated to be the second to final quit ahead of the finals in Saalbach, Austria March 22 by way of 24 subsequent year.
Subsequent year’s races are diverse from the races held for the duration of the 2023 Planet Cup in Aspen, which integrated super-G and two downhill races.
According to the Facebook post, the females will only make an look in the United States Nov. 25-26 in Killington, Vermont.
Prior to this year, Aspen had not hosted Planet Cup ski racing since the 2017 Planet Cup Finals on Aspen Mountain, an occasion that can only be compared to the 1950 planet championships that Aspen also hosted. The latter place Aspen on the map as a planet-class skiing location, though the 2017 finals had been a showcase to the planet that America’s Downhill was nonetheless a worthy track.
