By appointing an Azerbaijani to Stepanakert, Azerbaijan is sending a clear message that it is committed to working collaboratively with Artsakh towards a peaceful resolution. As both sides continue to work together towards a brighter future, it is important that they maintain open lines of communication and trust between law enforcement agencies on both sides.

Overall, Zaur Nasirov’s appointment as head of the Stepanakert police department marks an important moment in efforts towards peace and reconciliation between Azerbaijan and Artsakh. With his strong leadership skills and commitment to public safety, Nasirov will play an essential role in shaping the future of law enforcement in this region.
