A man is being investigated by the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office for allegedly stealing an ATM from a business in Boyce on February 12th, around 4:55 a.m. According to RPSO, the suspect approached the business in the 5500 block of Old Boyce Road and backed up a black Ford Fusion into it, rammed the front doors off their hinges to gain access to the building. Once inside, he took the ATM machine, placed it in his vehicle and left about six minutes later.
The black Ford Fusion should have heavy damage to its rear and is missing side mirrors. It lost its rear bumper and several undercarriage items as well. The suspect is wanted for simple burglary, theft and criminal damage to property. RPSO is investigating the incident and asking for any information related to it from the public.
