Get involved in discussing science culture

On February 14th, we are introducing a new series called “Taboos and Tricky Topics” to spark thoughtful discussions about science culture. This series is a follow-up to our Vision for a Better Science Culture, which outlined the values, behaviors, and expectations of an ideal science community.

Creating a positive science culture will benefit everyone, but it requires collective effort and can present challenges. Our goal is to address the tensions within science culture, such as the delicate balance between advancing one’s research career and dedicating time to improving aspects of science culture. We want to provide a platform for individuals from different backgrounds and career stages to share their perspectives. Additionally, we welcome your input through our questions and comments board, where you can submit anonymously at any time leading up to the event.

To participate in this engaging conversation, tune in to our YouTube channel or LinkedIn page at 4 pm UK time on February 14th. Submit your questions and comments at any time beforehand or during the event. For more information about this series or how to get involved, visit our website today.
