On the festival centre’s Independence Day, a tragic incident took place. The Mobile Police Department has identified the victim of a homicide that occurred outside of Academy Sports + Outdoors as 22-year-old DeShaun Bonner. DeShaun was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds and passed away shortly thereafter.
The Mobile Police Department is currently investigating the shooting of DeShaun Bonner, but no suspects have been named yet. News 5 has a team on site working to gather more information about the incident.
