The team is considering selecting a premier player along the offensive line, a pass rusher, or help solidify their defensive backs with the 26th overall pick. In a recent first-round mock draft by CBS Sports’ Will Brinson, there is a trend with the projection of the Buccaneers selecting elite cornerback Terion Arnold from the University of Alabama.

Arnold is a Tallahassee, Florida native who had an impressive college career. He earned honors like FWAA Freshman All-American and Freshman All-SEC in his early years at Tuscaloosa. In his redshirt sophomore season, he earned recognition as a first-team Associated Press All-American and All-SEC first-team member.

With the Bucs trading away Carlton Davis III and adding players like Zyon McCollum and Tavierre Thomas, they are still in need of bolstering their defensive backfield. Therefore, selecting Arnold would be a valuable addition to their roster.
