A suspicious package at a business in Lehigh County prompted an evacuation and the temporary closure of part of Route 100. The incident occurred at Ryder Logistics warehouse on Congdonhill Drive around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon. Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky confirmed that the area was evacuated, and the road has since reopened. However, Congdon Hill Drive remains closed at Spring Creek Road, causing heavy traffic in the area.

The Allentown Bomb Squad was called to assist in the investigation shortly after 2 p.m., along with K9s and the state police explosives team. As of 4:30 p.m., the investigation was still ongoing, with multiple businesses located near Ryder Logistics being evacuated as a precaution.
