Care for Generations: Tidalhealth’s HealthFest Promotes Health Awareness, Provides Services and Resources

Tidalhealth is hosting an upcoming HealthFest called “Care for Generations” on June 22nd. This event aims to promote health awareness, provide health services, and offer resources for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The services and information provided will cater to individuals of all ages, from young children to the elderly.

TidalHealth’s lead for HealthFest, Kat Rodgers, recently visited Good Morning Delmarva to share more about the event and how they are supporting the community. During the event, attendees will have the chance to speak with professionals such as pharmacists, doctors, and phlebotomists. In addition to healthcare services, free food will also be available as food scarcity has been a concern this year. Rodgers emphasized the importance of reaching out to communities that have not previously participated in such events.

The location of the HealthFest has been changed this year and interpreters will be available for those who speak Spanish or Haitian-Creole.
