Caterina Fake Files Missing Person’s Report for Daughter Last Seen in San Francisco’s Tenderloin District

Caterina Fake, the mother of Mint Butterfield and co-founder of Flickr, has filed a missing person’s report for her 16-year-old daughter. Butterfield was last seen on Sunday evening in Bolinas, California, which is located north of San Francisco. Authorities from the local sheriff’s office have issued a missing juvenile alert and are seeking information that could help locate Butterfield. The alert was shared in a Nextdoor post by K. Walther, a deputy with the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, who mentioned that Butterfield was last seen around 10 p.m. on Sunday. The following morning, they were reported missing.

Butterfield has been known to frequent the Tenderloin district of San Francisco, a neighborhood notorious for its social issues.
