First Stop in Fort Lauderdale: The Florida Panthers’ Stanley Cup Tour

The Florida Panthers secured their first Stanley Cup championship just over a day ago, by defeating the Edmonton Oilers in Game 7. The team wasted no time in celebrating their historic win. The players were seen pouring beer into the Cup and enjoying the moment together.

The following day, the Panthers took their celebrations to Fort Lauderdale, where they visited Matthew Tkachuk’s home for an after-party. They then made their way to the Elbo Room, a popular bar in the area, where they were joined by enthusiastic fans. Tkachuk and teammate Sam Bennett even showered beer down onto the crowd from a balcony, adding to the festive atmosphere.

To clean off the remnants of beer, the team took the Stanley Cup to Fort Lauderdale Beach and dipped it in saltwater, all in good fun. The team’s victory parade is scheduled for Sunday, starting at Riomar Street and ending at Las Olas Oceanside Park. But knowing the Panthers, there may be more surprise appearances by the Stanley Cup before the parade kicks off.
