Jasmine Tolbert has joined the board of directors of Columbia River Mental Well being Solutions, a Clark County nonprofit that delivers behavioral wellness and recovery solutions for youngsters, adults, and households in Southwest Washington.

Tolbert, who has bachelor’s degree in social science with a concentration in personnel psychology/human sources from Washington State University Vancouver, at present serves as vice president for people today and culture for YWCA Clark County.

She lately concluded 5 years with NAACP Vancouver Branch 1139, serving initially as vice president and then as president.

She has served in many human sources capacities with such for-profit firms as The Typical and The Vancouver Clinic. She has in depth practical experience developing and implementing diversity, equity and inclusion policies and applications, as effectively as managing human sources.

She is a previous board member for YWCA Clark County, and at present serves on the boards of SW Washington Equity Coalition, Workforce SW Washington, and Washington State University Equity Diversity Advisory Board.

She is a member of the Washington State University Vancouver’s Advisory Council.
