The Washington Commanders are excited to announce the addition of two new coaches to their staff, including Bobby Johnson as the offensive line coach and Ken Norton Jr. as the team’s linebackers coach.
Johnson, who previously worked with the Giants, brings a wealth of experience to the role. Prior to joining the Commanders, he spent two seasons as the offensive line coach with the Giants before being dismissed at the end of the 2023 season. He also has coaching experience with teams such as the Colts, Raiders, Lions, and Jaguars over the course of his career.
Ken Norton Jr., on the other hand, has been named as the team’s linebackers coach. Head coach Dan Quinn, who recently joined the team, has been busy filling key roles on his staff since taking on the position a couple of weeks ago. It has been reported that Quinn is building a coaching staff with seasoned NFC East coaches, indicating a strategy to bring in experienced and knowledgeable individuals to help guide the team to success.
