Debbi Honey, RN, has been recognized as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s 90 Patient Safety Experts to Know. Currently serving as the senior vice president and chief nursing officer of Covenant Health since 2017, Honey has played a vital role in improving patient safety indicators and enhancing the overall patient experience.
Honey’s responsibilities at Covenant Health include overseeing the quality and safety of nursing operations, standardizing processes to improve patient and operational support activities, and actively participating in clinical leadership development on both local and national levels. With a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee and a master’s degree in health administration from the University of Minnesota, Honey is a highly qualified healthcare professional. She also holds certifications in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP) and as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
