Marko Pjaca (28) was thrilled a month ago when he received a call-up to the Croatian national team for matches against Latvia and Armenia. Although many had predicted Marc Pašalić to be included, Pjaca was ecstatic about the opportunity and eagerly expressed his readiness and excitement for the chance to play again. However, his joy was short-lived as he felt muscle pain and had to sit out the next match while recovering. Unfortunately, he was also ruled out of the following game.

Looking back on his career, Pjaca has learned that everything happens for a reason. He shared how he tries not to dwell on injuries but rather focuses on recovery and moving forward. Despite the challenges posed by setbacks, Pjaca remains determined to make a full recovery and continue playing at the highest level. He is grateful for the opportunities he has been given and hopes to return to competition soon.

In addition to his struggles with injuries, Pjaca has also reflected on how watching matches from home can be tough. Nevertheless, he keeps the silver medal from the 2018 World Championship in a special place at home as a reminder of his accomplishments.
