The Discord platform is saying goodbye to its chatbot, Clyde, on December 1. This experimental conversational tool, which was introduced in March and based on OpenAI technology, will no longer be available for users to interact with.

Clyde was designed to act as a discovery and recommendations tool, providing entertainment through trivia and jokes. However, he did not offer advice as stated in his description. Users could interact with him through direct messages and channels, making him a valuable resource for finding new content and playing games.

The technology company has announced that Clyde will be removed from the platform on December 1. After this date, users will no longer be able to interact with Clyde in direct messages or server chats. The Support page has confirmed this information, leaving many users disappointed about the end of their favorite chatbot’s journey on Discord.
