KPBS Public Media Presents Marine Science Day

San Diego State University’s Marine Ecology and Biology Student Association (MEBSA) is inviting the community to join them for a fun and educational event on Marine Science Day on Sunday, April 21, 2024. The event will take place from 11 AM to 3 PM at the SDSU Coastal and Marine Laboratory Institute, located at 4165 Spruance Rd., San Diego.

MEBSA has organized this free event, which includes touch tanks, food trucks, research talks, and raffle prizes. It’s an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to learn more about marine science and biology in an engaging way.

The day promises to be a great experience for everyone involved. With touch tanks featuring a variety of marine creatures, visitors can get up close and personal with the ocean’s inhabitants. Food trucks will be on hand to satisfy your hunger, while research talks will provide insights into the latest advancements in marine science.
