Spring sports activities in Lenawee County are in full swing

The spring season is in full swing for high school sports in Lenawee County. On Monday, girls soccer teams took to the field. Clinton emerged victorious over Tecumseh with an 8-2 scoreline. Aubrey Lauer scored an impressive six goals for Clinton, while Anna Schaffner added two more goals and two assists. Kaylee Raiser also contributed two assists. Goalkeeper Jackie Whiting made six saves for Clinton. In another game, Monroe bested Blissfield 7-2.

Meanwhile, in lacrosse action, the Tecumseh girls team started their season with a tough 16-4 loss to Sylvania Northview. The visiting team from Ohio proved to be a formidable opponent. Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each scored a goal and added an assist for Tecumseh. Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also netted a goal each in the game.
