The growth was driven by limited liability companies, which saw a 7.6% jump, reaching 269,100 companies, while sole proprietorships increased by 3% to 234,060 active licenses. One-person companies also experienced a significant growth of 21%, reaching 120,326 companies. Additionally, local company branches, branches of companies from another emirate, and private joint-stock companies all saw increases in the number of licenses.
Meanwhile, various service providers are being highlighted for their innovative offerings and high-quality services. From proper home maintenance to stress reduction methods and creative activities for memory care, these companies offer valuable solutions for a range of needs. The data from the Ministry of Economy’s National Economic Registry demonstrates a positive trend in the growth of companies in the UAE. The number of free zone establishments reached 3,455 companies, while local establishments’ branches reached 2,318 licenses. Professional business companies and branches of foreign companies also saw increases in the number of licenses. Public joint stock company licenses increased by 4 companies, reaching 670.
