Empower Solano will host a ceremony honoring smaller corporations that effectively pivoted and kept serving the neighborhood safely in the course of the pandemic.

5 corporations will be highlighted at the affair and their owners will acquire certificates or recognition from the offices of Congressman John Garamendi, California State Sen. Bill Dodd and California Assemblymember Lori D. Wilson.

The director of the California Workplace of Modest Small business Advocates, Tara Lynn Gray, will be keynote speaker. Tim Murrill, executive director of the Solano-Napa Modest Small business Improvement Center, will also speak.

The occasion will take spot at ten a.m. Wednesday at the Solano-Napa Modest Small business Improvement Center, 500 Chadbourne Road, Fairfield.

The public is invited and small business owners, entrepreneurs or anybody attempting to get started a small business are encouraged to attend. Admission is free of charge. Refreshments will be served.

The occasion marks National Modest Small business Month, which is held every single year in Could to commemorate the contributions smaller corporations bring to their communities.
