Memorial Health System Presents Women’s History Month Panel Discussing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Memorial Health System in Gulfport, Mississippi held a significant discussion as part of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) program to close out Women’s History Month. Memorial staff and community members were invited to join the conversation at the hospital.

The panel discussion, held on Tuesday morning, focused on this year’s national theme of women advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion. Erin Rosetti, Communications Manager at Memorial Health System, highlighted the impact of implicit bias and emphasized the importance of listening and understanding others’ experiences to create a healthier community and establish better relationships.

Rosetti expressed excitement about the program’s expansion as she noted that this year marked the third year that the panel was held. The panel included Chief Nursing Officer Mary Brobst, Director of Patient Financial Services Crystal Bowler, Healthcare Accreditation Coordinator Lucinda L’Enfant, and Family Nurse Practitioner Diane Edrington.
