Altius Sports Partners (ASP) and OneTeam Partners have announced a partnership that will bring new opportunities and resources to athletes and school partners in the group licensing and NIL spaces. While financial details of the agreement were not disclosed, ASP will educate school partners and athletes on the group licensing opportunities available through OneTeam. This includes the opt-in process for the upcoming EA Sports college football game.
OneTeam, established as a joint venture between the NFLPA and MLBPA in 2019, has been heavily involved in the college and professional sports sectors. The organization aims to maximize the value of athletes’ rights through group licensing, marketing, media, and venture investing. ASP currently advises more than 40 Division I athletics departments through consulting services and its on-campus GM Program. ASP Brands also facilitates collaborations between brands and athletes through national NIL campaigns on behalf of major companies like Powerade and Shake Shack.
Through this partnership, ASP will utilize its expertise to enhance strategy services for OneTeam and provide advice on growth opportunities within the college space. OneTeam will leverage ASP’s knowledge and resources to better serve its clients and maximize their potential in the group licensing and NIL spaces. This partnership is expected to bring new opportunities for athletes, schools, brands, and investors in these fast-growing industries.
