The UH Amherst Health Center recently celebrated its grand opening, located next to the UH Amherst Beaver Creek Surgery Center. This expansion aims to provide the community with top-notch healthcare services in one convenient location. The health center, situated at 915 N. Lake St., Suite 100, offers a range of medical specialties including orthopedic care, radiology, physical therapy, and an urgent care walk-in clinic.
Dr. James Voos, chair of the UH Department of Orthopedic Surgery, emphasized the commitment to expanding expert care and state-of-the-art facilities throughout Northeast Ohio. Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Robert Zanotti expressed excitement about contributing to the development of this new comprehensive healthcare center despite being based on a new campus. The team at University Hospitals looks forward to continuing to support patients and the community for years to come. In addition to these services, a retail pharmacy will open in June to further enhance the offerings at the UH Amherst Health Center.
