On Memorial Day weekend, a bomb threat caused operations to come to a halt at the Target in Mission, Kansas. The Mission Police Department received an anonymous call reporting a bomb threat at the store located at 6100 Broadmoor St. Emergency crews responded to the scene and evacuated the building, moving employees and customers to the parking lot. A K-9 unit was brought in to search for any potential explosives.
Fortunately, no bomb was found and business was able to resume as usual. However, this situation caused disruption for both employees and customers. Despite this, it turned out to be a false alarm. It is always important to take any threats seriously to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
The Mission Police Department has not released any further details about the incident at this time. It is important for everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time.
