Chase Dollander, a former standout pitcher at the University of Tennessee, has been selected to participate in the MLB All-Star Futures Game in Arlington, Texas. Dollander was the No. 9 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft and will represent the National League in the game.
Throughout the 2024 season, Dollander has been playing with the Colorado Rockies High-A affiliate, the Spokane Indians. In just 12 starts, he has an impressive record of 3-1 with a 3.05 ERA and a 1.24 WHIP. In addition to his strong performance on the mound, Dollander has also struck out an impressive 92 batters in just 62.0 innings pitched.
The MLB All-Star Futures Game is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at 4:05 p.m. ET and highlights the young talent in minor league baseball while giving fans a glimpse into the future stars of Major League Baseball.
