Neighborhood consignment store hopes to expand presence in the community

Cool Kid’s Consignment has been a fixture in Morgantown for 12 years, providing a unique shopping experience for families of all ages. Kathy Bryan took over ownership of the store 7 years ago and has been running it ever since. The store operates on a consignment basis, where customers can sell their items and receive a profit once the item is sold.

One of the things that sets Cool Kid’s Consignment apart is the wide variety of items they offer. From kids’ clothing to men’s and women’s formal wear, shoes, purses, jewelry, and baby gear, there is something for everyone in the family. Kathy takes pride in offering affordable prices in an economic climate that can be challenging for many shoppers.

The store also values its role in the community by giving customers the opportunity to sell their items and supporting local families. This sense of community is reflected in the personal connections Kathy forms with her customers. She enjoys seeing families come in and grow up together through her selection of maternity clothes to baby clothes, prom dresses to homecoming outfits.

Cool Kid’s Consignment aims to continue growing its business while serving the community as long as possible. Kathy encourages people to support local businesses like hers by visiting their Facebook or Instagram page for more information about what they have to offer.
