Vidya Rao promoted to chief technology and transformation officer at Genpact

Vidya Rao, who was previously the chief information officer at Genpact, has been promoted to the role of chief technology and transformation officer. In her new position, she will be responsible for establishing a robust data office to enhance Genpact’s data capabilities. Meanwhile, Vipin Gairola has been appointed as the global operating officer at Genpact. His new responsibilities will include overseeing global client operations, analytics, data, and technology initiatives.

Vidya Rao started her career at Blue Chip Computer Consultants and has held various positions in the technology industry ever since. She worked at Infosys, Wipro, Cambridge Technology Partners, and Accenture before joining Genpact as their chief information officer. She also served as a board member at Micro Focus.

Rao’s new role as chief technology and transformation officer will enable her to drive innovation and change within Genpact’s tech landscape. With a focus on data capabilities, she will establish a strong data office that will help the company stay ahead of its competitors in terms of digital transformation.
