Bernie Clarke, a volunteer at the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry, tirelessly manned the stuffing station of the Thanksgiving bag assembly line on Monday morning. The pantry, located at St. Agnes Church, dedicated over an hour to pack bags and Linda Young, the organizer, estimated that they would distribute around 275 bags of food during the day.
The community support and dedication to helping those less fortunate was evident in the team’s efforts. Volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure that those in need would have access to a Thanksgiving meal. The bags of food packed by the volunteers would go on to make a significant difference for many families during the holiday season.
