A fisherman from Gornji Stupnik, Dražen Trdak, made history yesterday at Lake Vrana by catching a massive catfish that measured two meters long and weighed 60 kilograms. The impressive catch was captured on camera and shared on the social media pages of the Vrana Lake Nature Park.
Trdak’s successful fishing trip was the result of his skill and determination, as well as his use of specific equipment. The battle with the catfish lasted for an hour and a half, but Trdak emerged victorious thanks to his small babushka bait, 3.9 m Governor rod, 3.75 lb line, and Okuma reel.
The impressive catch generated a lot of attention and excitement on social media, with many people expressing admiration for Trdak’s achievement. The photos of Trdak and the massive catfish also showcased the natural beauty of Lake Vrana.
