Global Leaders Gather to Tackle Pressing Global Issues at Upcoming NOW Summit in New York

The upcoming Global Citizen NOW summit, held in New York on May 1 and 2, will bring together an array of influential political, business, and philanthropic leaders. Among the distinguished participants are Michelle Yeoh, Botswana President Mokgweetsi Masisi, and Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg.

The summit aims to tackle pressing global issues such as food insecurity, climate change, and public health related to extreme poverty. Global Citizen CEO Hugh Evans emphasized the critical need for immediate action to end extreme poverty, noting that the world is at a crossroads on these issues.
