Greeneye Technologies, a Tel Aviv-based company specializing in AI-enabled precision spraying technology, has secured $20 million in funding. The funding round was led by Deep Insight with participation from Syngenta Group Ventures, JVP, Orbia Ventures, Eyal Waldman, Iron Nation, and Amol Deshpande. With this new investment, Greeneye Technologies plans to expand its operations in the U.S., enhance the technology’s analytical capabilities and introduce it to new inputs and crops.
Since its establishment in 2017 by CEO Nadav Bocher, the company has been dedicated to developing sustainable alternatives to current crop protection practices to meet the increasing global demand for food production and improve profitability for farmers. Greeneye Technologies is at the forefront of precision spraying technology using AI and deep machine learning to make intelligent decisions in real-time in the field. This approach has proven to reduce chemical usage and enhance weed control efficacy when compared to traditional broadcast spraying methods.
