The Harlem Wizards, a world-famous basketball team, returned to William Floyd Elementary School for a friendly game against the faculty and staff from Tangier Smith Elementary School and John S. Hobart Elementary School. The evening was filled with excitement as Kopa, the therapy dog, served as an honorary referee for the game.
The Harlem Wizards put on a spectacular show of basketball skills, entertaining the crowd with their impressive displays. A “Wiz-Kids” warm-up got the kids excited and ready to play, while comedy and contests kept everyone laughing and engaged throughout the night. Raffles were also held, giving attendees a chance to win some great prizes.
As the night drew to a close, the “Wiz-Kids” joined in the Wizards’ dance party, dancing along with their heroes and having an absolute blast. It was a fun-filled evening for all who attended, thanks to the hard work of the Hobart and Tangier Smith PTOs in organizing the event. Photos from the event can be found in our album below.
