Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori had a productive performance against Croatia in the 1-1 draw in Leipzig, earning an assist for Mattia Zaccagni. After the game, he met with ex-Juventus and Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci at the stadium, a meeting captured by their agent Alessandro Lucci on Instagram.
Lucci also represents other footballers such as Mattia Perin and Dejan Kulusevski. Kulusevski, who played for Juventus and Atalanta before joining Tottenham, is currently playing for the Premier League club. Calafiori has been linked to transfer rumors involving Juventus, with Bologna reportedly valuing him at €50m. However, there is also interest from several other Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Newcastle.
Despite being a product of the Roma academy, Calafiori’s future in top European leagues remains uncertain as clubs compete for his signature. The meeting with Bonucci only added to the speculation surrounding his potential transfer to Juventus or another top club.
