Nelson and Westhead Selected as Inductees for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024

Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead, both former standouts of Saint Joseph’s University, have been named to the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024. The announcement was made by organization officials on Tuesday. Along with Nelson and Westhead, other inductees include George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley, and Alice Putnam Willetts.

The induction ceremony for the 2024 Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame will take place on Thursday, November 7th at the Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia. This event is open to the public and more information can be found along with registration at
