John E. Anzak, 66, of Hannibal, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023. He was born on July 31, 1957, to the late Shirley (Cochran) and John Anzak.

For over three decades, John worked as an employee of the US Postal Service where he spent 24 years as a Post Master before retiring on his birthday in 2009. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing trips and watching sports.

John is survived by his brother James Anzak of St.Clairsville, OH; niece Megan Anzak of Taylors, SC.; step-niece Kelly Reasbeck of Marins Ferry; and three first cousins.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate John’s life at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church located at 73339 Pleasant Grove Rd in St Clairsville on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at 11am with services at 1 pm led by Pastor Dan Nelson. Schuetz Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
