Mekhi Becton, the left tackle for the Jets, sustained an ankle injury during Sunday’s game against the Bills and had to be carted off the field. He did not return and was taken to the locker room for further evaluation. Head coach Robert Saleh announced that Becton would undergo additional tests, including an MRI on Monday, to determine the extent of the injury. In his absence, rookie Carter Warren filled in at left tackle. This season, the Jets have used seven different offensive line combinations, and Monday’s test results will determine if they will need to use an eighth combination for their upcoming game against the Dolphins on Friday.
