The 2023-24 season of Michigan State basketball started off on a disappointing note with a loss to James Madison, a team that received a lot of attention throughout the college basketball season. However, this season has a more manageable opponent lined up for the Spartans. They will face off against Niagara of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference on Nov. 7 to kick off their 2024-25 season.
Tom Izzo and the Spartans will be looking to rebound from their previous season and make a strong start in this new one. By facing a potentially less formidable opponent in Niagara, they will have an opportunity to showcase their skills and set the tone for the rest of the season ahead.
