Man Narrowly Escapes Baltimore Bridge Collapse After Quick Exit Following Dispute

In Baltimore, a tragic incident occurred on Tuesday morning when the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed due to a ship crashing into one of its supports. However, one Baltimore resident named Jayden managed to narrowly avoid disaster by crossing the bridge just minutes before it collapsed.

Jayden had crossed the bridge three times after an argument with his girlfriend and was almost home when he received texts about the collapse. The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m., and six construction workers were presumed dead as a result of the collapse. The city’s fire chief stated in a press conference that two people were rescued from the water, with one being sent to a local trauma center in a “very serious condition.”

The shipping and engineering industries are now facing questions about bridge safety due to this catastrophic event. Experts have noted that the size of the 95,000-ton container ship played a significant role in the bridge’s collapse. If not for the ship’s distress call, which gave officials time to close car traffic on the bridge, the outcome could have been much more devastating.
