Meeting between Napoli and Buongiorno’s agent regarding transfer negotiations

Giovanni Manna, Napoli’s director, recently met with Alessandro Buongiorno’s agent, Beppe Riso, to discuss the possibility of bringing the Torino center-back to Napoli. The meeting took place in Milan at a restaurant on Tuesday night, according to reports from Sky Sport Italia.

Buongiorno is a top target for Napoli as they look to strengthen their defense ahead of the new season. Manna is working hard to finalize personal terms with the player and is optimistic that an agreement will be reached soon. According to reports, the meeting between Manna and Riso was positive and led Napoli to believe that they are close to reaching an agreement with Buongiorno’s agent.

Once personal terms are agreed upon, Napoli will then make a formal bid to Torino for Buongiorno. Despite Torino president Urbano Cairo stating that Buongiorno is not for sale, it seems likely that the Italian center-back will be sold for around €40m.

Napoli’s pursuit of Buongiorno is a key move for the club as they look to bolster their defense ahead of the new season. The talented defender is seen as a vital addition to Antonio Conte’s squad, and Napoli are hopeful that they can secure a deal for him in the near future. With talks progressing positively, Napoli will be looking to finalize a deal for Buongiorno in the coming hours to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.
