Aviators, Mandan’s newest sports bar, has opened its doors at 202 West Main Street. The bar is owned by five individuals, including pilot Ryan Deichert, whose love of aviation inspired the name. The idea for the bar came from one of the owners who is also getting into aviation and thought it would be fun to create a bar themed around airplanes and airports.
Despite the challenges of starting a business and becoming a new father, Deichert views these challenges as opportunities for personal growth and is excited for both aspects of his life. The business recently had a soft opening over the past two weeks, and even though they have not officially advertised their opening, locals and passersby have been stopping in to check out the new establishment.
Jersey Thomas, a bartender at Aviators, has found the environment welcoming and supportive as she navigates her first bartending job. The team at Aviators has been supportive and helpful as she learns the ropes. Aviators is open every day from 3 p.m. to 1 a.m., providing a comfortable and inviting space for patrons to relax and enjoy some aviation-themed fun.
