UnBar Cafe, a new establishment in Cleveland’s Larchmere neighborhood, is set to open its doors this month. The cafe’s owner, Melissa Garrett, recently won the $20,000 top prize at JumpStart Inc.’s Small Business Impact Program Showcase. The event took place at Cleveland’s House of Blues and celebrated the 20th cohort of JumpStart’s Small Business Impact program. This program is a 12-week accelerator that provides entrepreneurs with personalized advice and business training.
The showcase featured a pitch competition emceed by Josh and Maria Cribbs and presented by the Cleveland Browns. Josh Cribbs, a former wide receiver for the Browns, along with his wife Maria Cribbs, host a local television talk show.
