The Houston Texans’ offseason workouts have brought about some exciting news for the team. During a recent interview, quarterback C.J. Stroud revealed that he was one of the last to find out about the team acquiring star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Stroud admitted that he was asleep when news of the trade broke, as he had been back home in L.A. on the West Coast.
After waking up to messages from friends asking how he felt, he finally saw the news on Instagram and realized the Texans had added Diggs to their roster. Stroud expressed his excitement about the addition of Diggs to the team, citing their previous meeting at the Pro Bowl as a positive interaction that laid the foundation for their relationship.
Last season, Diggs had an impressive performance with the Buffalo Bills, catching 107 passes for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns. He joins receivers like Nico Collins and rookie Tank Dell, who have also shown promise on the field. With Stroud’s solid performance in his rookie season, throwing for over 4,000 yards and 23 touchdowns, the addition of Diggs is expected to elevate the Texans’ offense to new heights.
Overall, Stroud, Diggs, and the rest of the Texans organization are excited about
