New Left Tackle addition: Packers sign Andre Dillard in bid to strengthen offense.

The Green Bay Packers have signed free agent Andre Dillard to a contract, as announced by the team. With many questions surrounding their offensive line, particularly with left tackle David Bakhtiari becoming a free agent after his release, the Packers have a need to address this position. Currently, they have Rasheed Walker, Kadeem Teifort, Zach Tom, Luke Tenuta, and Caleb Jones at tackle on their roster. This signing indicates that Dillard will likely compete for the left tackle job. In addition to signing Dillard, the Packers may also look to draft multiple linemen next week to further strengthen their offensive line.

Andre Dillard is a 28-year-old offensive lineman who has played primarily left tackle throughout his career but also has experience at right tackle. With 59 games played and 19 starts under his belt, Dillard’s most starts in a single season came in 2023 when he started 10 games at left tackle for the Titans. He played a career-high 562 offensive snaps last season and showcased his potential as a valuable asset for the Packers. The Tennessee Titans released him on March 15th following four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles after being drafted 22nd overall in 2019.
