The Texas Rangers and Bally Sports Southwest have agreed to broadcast both home and away games, with a total of 153 regular season games and four spring training games set to air. The first spring training game will be on March 14, while the regular season coverage begins on March 30 with a game between the Rangers and the Chicago Cubs at Globe Life Field.
Despite previous reports of financial difficulties, Bally Sports’ parent company, Diamond Sports, recently filed for bankruptcy protection. However, last month it was announced that the company would be partnering with Amazon as part of a restructuring agreement. This agreement was approved by a Houston judge last Friday.
