Cofounder named VP of Business Development at Image Comics

Eric Stephenson, publisher and chief creative officer of Image Comics, has announced the appointment of Jim Viscardi as the company’s new vice president of business development. This new role will see Viscardi responsible for driving strategic growth and building new relationships in the comic industry. He will work closely with Image Comics’ sales and marketing teams and report directly to Stephenson.

Viscardi is well-known in the comics industry for his work at, which he co-founded in 2015. In this role, he oversaw editorial strategy, content creation, video production, and social media growth. The site was acquired by CBS Interactive (now Paramount Global) in 2018 and remains a top source of news for the comic industry. Prior to this role, Viscardi worked in marketing and communications at Marvel Entertainment.

Viscardi expressed his excitement about joining Image Comics and contributing to its legacy of fostering creative independence while driving strategic business growth.
